items that go in the refrigerator or freezer. this word is necessary because not all perishables are refrigeraed, and not all refridgables are perishable. i added the “d” as in “fridge” to aid pr-nunciation; otherwise, it would be “refrigables” which would want a “hard g.”
wife to husband: would you bring the groceries in from the car and put the refridgables away?
