Rules Game
a style of game where the emphasis is not on the game itself, but in the adherence to, manipulation of, interpretation of, or in some cases, creation of rules. any game may be turned into a rules game by a rules lawyer/rules librarian.
notable rules games: cheat (card game), munchkin, calvinball.
i don’t care if they bid out of turn, we’re not playing a rules game.
