based upon the frame story of “one thousand and one nights” (arabic: كتاب ألف ليلة وليلة kitāb ‘alf layla wa-layla; persian: هزار و یک شب hezār-o yek šab) – a collection of middle eastern folk tales of the islamic golden age -in english as the arabian nights, where scheherazade, wife of ruler shahryar keeps him entertained by telling him intertwined stories of adventures of his kingdom each night.
