noun: a surname found mostly in northern america (i.e. minnesota-wisconsin area), known as a fun-loving group of people. of german origin, small school in germany named after them. not very big drinkers, but when given the opportunity, have a very high tolerance for alchohol. compound from the words sure+hammer; early blacksmiths, and later drinking champions. very smart intelligent people, many of whom have gone of to do great things. you can tell a schurhammer apart because they are beautiful, graceful, athletic people
