scinger
a ‘scinger’ is a shortened form for a ‘scotch and ginger’. since ordering a ‘scotch and dry’ (i.e. a scotch and dry ginger ale mixed drink that’s popular in australia) can often result in being served a ‘scotch and dry vermouth’ in california, one must therefore order a ‘scotch and ginger’, which after a few rounds comes out as ‘scinger’. often heard slurred by drunk aussies in bars in the tl!
“throw that scinger down ya neck!”
“get that scinger in ya!”
