just like ‘selective hearing’, but with regards to having knowledge. admitting or not, to having that knowledge, as one seems fit.
linda was trained on each part of her new job. however, she forgot part b, so she claims she wasn’t trained for it. she’s using ‘selective knowledge’ to cover her -ss.
