the children were skiddling in puddles.
the act of goofing off or wasting time. often, this is accompanied by the art of pretending to be busy. i.e. walking around at work with a clipboard like you’re in a rush when really you’re not doing anything specific.
i wasn’t involved in that task, i was skiddling up and down the hangar.
