skint-tastic
a compound of the word skint, adjective, and an artificial suffix -tastic, as used in the word fantastic which has a greek root. linguists call this kind of phenomenon a back formation. cf. pea from pease.
possibly influenced by the tendency to emphasise the word fantastic in spoken english by pausing after the first syllable.
“i can’t come out for a drink this evening as i’m skint-tastic. i don’t get paid until next week.”
