when you’re still kind of asleep but functioning like an awake person anyway. most likely to happen while lying in bed.
ian was still sleepish when lindsay asked him if they could go to taco bell for lunch. he deeply regretted saying yes, but blamed it on his own half-consciousness at the time the question was asked.
to be used in place of sleepy(1), or when you are a mix of bored and sleepy(2), or when you’re zoned out(3).
