stingy or tight-fisted, derived from the thai phrase ‘kee niaow’ kee = sh-t; niaow = sticky.
usually applied to people who have plenty of money, but are loath to spend it.
“kăo kee niaow.”
literally, ‘he sh-t sticky’, meaning “he’s a sticky sh-t” or “he is very tight-fisted”

they generally occur when the bearer hasn’t eaten enough fiber.
