stonyvision
verb – to watch television or a movie with the show muted and with music playing instead. its name is derived from stoners playing music while getting high and just having the tv on in the background, or in more famous cases like watching the wizard of oz while pink floyd’s dark side of the moon plays.
one does not necessarily have to be stoned to engage in stonyvision; it is simply the act of watching muted tv while other music plays.
