Strong Silent Type
verb/noun: used to describe a person who is usually quiet and quite tough. usually a person who has been through some hard times and keeps to themselves. a very inside type of person but nonetheless very strong emotionally and mentally.
person 1: hey, what’s wrong with george?
person 2: he’s been through a lot these last few weeks.
person 1: ah, the strong silent type.
