commonly used among new york gay and african american people in the nightclubs and vogueing houses, the word tanjee is similar to the word shady, just not as extreme.
“the dinner was fine but that biscuit was tanjee”, “the door policy at that club was tanjee!” “i know the girl at the supermarket had a long day, but it was no reason to be tanjee”
