the phenomenon that occurs when kanye west intrudes upon a celebrity, causing the proceeding celebrity to reglorify the former.
2009 vma’s – kanye west took the mic from taylor swift, and said “taylor, i’m really happy for you. i’ll let you finish, but beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! one of the best videos of all time!” and then left the stage. beyonce then called taylor swift back up to the stage to let her have her moment. taylor swift was a victim of the kanye effect.

finding no explanation for the random interruption of importing the database back up, the only available option is the kanye effect.
