Thiefery Night
november 7th; thiefery night was established in 1991 and has been celebrated annually since. it is a tradition in the united states but originated in germany. on this night various acts of swindling, hooliganism, and shananigans are carried out by preteens, tweens, and teenagers.
thiefery night includes but is not limited to taking chapstick out of pockets and purses, moving car keys, borrowing babies, folding all pieces of paper (including bills) into oragami swans, taking batteries out of remote controls and shoelaces out of shoes and/or any crimes commited on mischief night.
