titty bingo
this phrase, originally the name of a little-known texas garage band, is often heard shouted by disc golf players when they make a birdie putt. this shout allows players to notify other disc golfers on the course that they have made a fantastic shot. the phenomenon appears to have originated in the brazos valley area of central texas.
on a par three disc golf hole, a player throws a fantastic drive that places his disc just a few feet from the pin. on his next shot, he drops his disc into the basket, giving him a birdie. this would be an appropriate time for him to shout, “t-tty bingo!”
