Triple Stumper
1. on the television quiz show “jeopardy!”, a clue for which no correct response is given by any player. (source: j-archive.com)
however, an incorrect response to a daily double clue cannot be termed a triple stumper, since only one player is stumped!
a triple stumper can include up to three incorrect responses, or else go unresponded to (i.e., have no contestant ring-in).

alex seemed bemused that so many $400 clues in the double jeopardy round were triple stumpers.
