money spent by people on their own idiocy. money spent on fixing situations caused by one’s own idiocy.
on friday night i got so bungalowed that i locked myself out of the house and had to pay £80 for a locksmith to change the locks, that’s an £80 tw-t tax so far this week.
when you owe an ex boyfriend or friend money, but they’ve treated you so badly that it now counts as a tax and you never have pay them back.
your boyfriend lends you money for a flight, but then you find out he’s been sleeping with other women ….. dump him and tell him about tw-t tax.
the act of paying for your own idiocy
for example, if you have left your keys in the house, and ended up locked out, you’ll have to call a 24 hour locksmith to get back in, you’ll probably have to pay the guy £80.
that £80 is £80 tw-t tax.
the opposite of tw-t tax would be if you put on a pair of jeans you haven’t worn in a while, and you find some money in the pockets, that can be known as a tw-t tax rebait
