a food or event designed to break a vegetarian’s willpower so that they’re compelled to eat meat. examples of vegetarian torture include bbq, bacon, thanksgiving, pulled pork.
i had to sit through a catered office meeting and endure the vegetarian torture of smelling bacon for two hours! of course i broke down, bacon is my vegetarian kryptonite.
