Velorcore
velorecore or dadaist punk. term coined by geoff “death party mountain” kershaw in regards to philadelphias dadaist punks hatch. hatch displayed a well of talent & creativity but never gained more than a cult following due to their unorthodox song structure and the fact that they only played a handful of shows a year. much like velore track suits, which were nice but slightly off putting and never really appropriate.
“hatch brought the genre of velorcore to the m-sses with their 1992 alb-m, ronald reagan forever”
– g. kershaw
