verbal identity
the part of a corporate ident-ty that can be expressed in words – usually including values, vision statement, proposition, positioning, brand promise, key characteristics, tone of voice. it underpins the visual parts of the ident-ty such as logos, colourways, graphic architecture etc.
we need to make sure the verbal ident-ty is in place before we invite design agencies to tender.
