Visharian
one whose vegetarian diet includes fish and seafood, but no meat, and typically includes dairy and eggs. a neologistic portmanteau of the words ‘vegetarian’ and ‘fish’, it is a more cool and descriptive alternative to the label pescetarian, which often invites partisan ridicule by waiters in restaurants.
skinny waiter: “hey, did you take the order from those pesky pescetarians on table 5 yet? they wanted to order off-menu…jesus, why can’t they just order in…oh man, now look, they’re waving at me…”
fat waiter: “yeah, but they’re actually visharians”
skinny waiter: “oh really? k, that’s cool then, give me the docket, i’ll go express it”.
