an hours-long plumbing of the depths of wikipedia. one interesting article links to another and before you know it you’ve wasted the whole day. often facilitated by mild stimulants, such as caffeine.
i just wanted to know the difference between bourbon and whiskey. the next thing i knew, my browser had dozens of tabs open on topics including aegeus the goat-man, the 1932 summer olympics, and a list of the tallest structures in norway. i was on a wikipedia bender.
