Windows shopping
spending an inordinate amount of time viewing page after page of an item, say shoes, on multiple websites.
i was windows shopping for almost 3 hours this morning….i looked at almost 4000 pairs of shoes and didn’t buy sh-t.
when a person goes to online websites like ebay or amazon.com to look at things they have no intention of purchasing. the electronic form of window shopping.
jane went on ebay to look at expensive diamond earrings that she would never be able to afford, so she was windows shopping.
creating an account on a shopping website solely to add items to your wish list, with no intention of actually buying anything.
person 1: did you make an account on forever21.com?
person 2: nah. i’d only use it for windows shopping anyway.
