Wordsteal


when someone makes up what they think is a truly unique word or phrase, and then they hear it on tv or from somebody they don’t know soon afterwards.
wordsteal example

sam: …that film was “loloriffic”!!!

(two weeks later)

tv: …and this incident has has been described as loloriffic by many witnesses.

sam: d-mn – my word has been wordstolen!
