work dad
the t-tle given to a supervisor or authority figure at work who -ssumes the role of a father figure in a strictly professional manner. this t-tle is often identified by the employee, but rarely recognized as a t-tle by the actual work dad himself.
my manager at work is a great mentor, and he is always giving me practical advice in work and life. he is a total work dad.
