a 10th avenue freeze out is when bruce springstein was younger they used to riot in asberry park. the police had to lock down the whole street. 10th avenue was the main street and when they lock it down it was called 10th avenue freeze out. i t could have been on 9th or 11th street. most of the time they had to lock down 10th avenue. hense the phrase “10th avenue freeze out”
the police where called to 10th avenue because everyone was getting out of hand. there was nothing else the could do but have a 10th avenue freeze out and lock down the whole block.
