Altocumulus


a cloud of a cl-ss characterized by globular m-sses or rolls in layers or patches, the individual elements being larger and darker than those of cirroc-mulus and smaller than those of stratoc-mulus: of medium alt-tude, about 8000–20,000 feet (2450–6100 meters).
