ancestral memories
memories of something you did, saw, smelled, tasted, or heard that you really never experienced before. these memories must have come from your ancestors & somehow p-ssed down thru dna. upon researching the family tree, it was evident that my ancestors had indeed experienced what i did!
when at 1 of my favorite lakes for the 1st time, i knew i’d been there before but in reality had not! later i found out it was my long~gone grandma’s favorite lake! when i burned kinnickkinnick, the familiar scent really threw me~i was sure i’d smelled it before but when i asked my mom, n-body in the family ever burned it around me! it must have been 1 of my ancestral memories!
