one of the halfway senseless things the moronic u.s. military members say when they think they have “better words” for things than the general public uses, which they made up to replace “attention” for some weird, unexplained reason, as if it were supposed to “mean something”!
“attenhut” sounds like this when they shout it for whatever pompous reasons they think of: “attehhhnnn…hut!”
