a period of time that takes place right after the end of a meaningful relationship in which a man pursues multiple s-xual partners. the event is heavily promoted by the male, even going as far as making merchandise to celebrate his recent bachelor status. this period of celebration is a method of coping with heartbreak. bangtoberfest is only reserved for breakups that occur when the relationship has demonstrated a significant emotional attachment.
