bartillery
a keg of beer. derived from brenade, and a portmanteau of brain and artillery.
as with “brenade”, the “brain” refers to the alcohol’s deleterious effects. similarly, the “artillery” can compliment the “brain” when referring to the explosiveness of the keg’s effects. it also refers to the similarity of a keg to an artillery sh-ll: the metal, the actual potential of explosion, the weight and use of special equipment, the loading of a keg into an ice bath or kegerator (like a sh-ll into a cannon), etc.
