Born Again Atheist

one who was once an atheist, has a brief period of some form of belief, then realizes how dumb that was and goes back to his or her atheist roots.
this dumb-ss hippie chick got me into astrology, then i realized wft is wrong with me and went back to the dark side. so now i’m a born again atheist.
a person who for whatever reason has decided to become an atheist and to self-righteously parade their atheism around like some badge of pride and a sign of intelligence.

zealotry resembles that of “born again” christians, pentecostalism and religious extremists due to their inability to accept or respect non-atheism as an acceptable form of living. born again atheists believe that followers of g-d, spirituality, religious practices are f-cking idiots. in this regard, non-atheists deserve to be told how stupid they are in the most derogatory, condescending, disrespectful and argumentative way possible.

additionally, born again atheists seek out ways to generalize non-atheists in order to -ssert what they perceive to be superior intellect. they insist upon religious discourse in an attempt to convert ‘believers’into ‘non-believers.’ ironically, this discourse resembles the very same empirical tactics that inherently alienated them into rejecting mainstream societal inst-tutions. therefore, born again atheists serve as mere counterparts to all other overzealous pract-tioners of any belief system.

born again atheist: well, i’m gonna go make some bad decisions. you feel free to feed into the belief that some cosmic jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree — that makes perfect sense.
former theists or agnostics that upon shifting to atheism become as militant, preachy and annoying as evangelical christians. can be spotted easily by overuse of the word ‘fairytale’.
chris: atheism is a poison that will lead our children to reject christ and turn to rock music, h-m-s-xuality and cannibalism.

al: no, it’s religion that brainwashes the people of the world into bigotry and violence. every single violent act in the history of mankind was done because a bunch of idiotic fairytales told people to murder for the glory of an invisible wizard.
