brithenig

a made-up language based on the idea that the celtic peoples of roman britain were able to partially repel the anglo-saxon invasion and develop a language that merges aspects of their ancestral language (which resembles welsh) and latin (the language of their roman conquerors).
“our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name” translates in brithenig as “nustr padr, ke sia i llo gel:
sia senghid tew nôn.” note the latin roots of many of the words: nustr = noster = our; padr = pater = father; non = nomen = name. nevertheless the language looks more like welsh than latin, at least to the modern english eye.
