in tv shows or movies when the character’s guns mysteriously appear in their hands without being drawn.
the term bsg fast-draw comes from the original battlestar galactica series, in which they had a problem with their oversized holsters, so they edited the scenes to simply show the pistols in their hands without showing the actors drawing the weapons.
