B’stard

a british politician. derived from the character ‘alan b’stard’ a tory mp played by rik mayall in the cl-ssic sitcom ‘the new statesman.’

b’stard is an unashamedly corrupt, egotistical and thoroughly unpleasant politician, whose political ideals verge on facsism. he had to constantly correct people who pr-nounced his name as ‘b-st-rd.’

ironically, the character bears a remarkable resemblance to tony blair – physically, and arguably in other ways too.
