candy rap
also known as mainstream rap, the rap you hear on tv, radio, etc. it takes no talent, and most songs have few words, usually just about s-x, drugs, clubbing, or gangsters. the opposite of candy rap would be real rap, which is actually a decent music genre and takes good writing skills.
candy rap:the cr-p you hear on mtv and the radio. 50 cent, little wayne, soldier boy, etc
“ballin” “im hot cause im fly, you aint cause yo not” “blame it on the alchohol” as you can see, these songs have no meaning and are just rhymes that a first grader could come up with, except they are all about vulgar things
real rap: has political, spiritual, or just life topics, and the poetry is well written. ex: immortal technique
