how i miss the cartoon network city era (you know, the era where cartoons interact with each other in a city and they have great music and nikki and the now/next with character heads)

great shows like ed, edd n eddy, powerpuff girls, megas xlr, the life and times of juniper lee, time squad, foster’s home for imaginary friends, duck dodgers, dexter’s laboratory, the grim adventures of billy and mandy, teen t-tans, johnny bravo, codename: kids next door, camp lazlo, xiaolin showdown, hi hi puffy amiyumi, samurai jack, my gym partner’s a monkey, cow and chicken, skunk fu and mucha lucha have no schedule anymore because of the new cartoon network. if it wasn’t for these shows, cartoon network wouldn’t be so awesome!

big mistake!

we have no idea why it got cancelled but i got 4 guesses:

they hate anime for being so much more popular than cartoons, censorship, toonami is too popular to cartoon network or cartoon network thinks anime shouldn’t be on a cartoon station

because of this anti-anime act, naruto got taken off like 3 weeks after.

now that toonami is off, where will we get more anime to watch and how will they make sat-rdays nights feel special and where are we going to watch more anime movies and where will we be able to see more naruto episodes?

we only had 10 more to get to shippuden season!

the only anime we have left are pokémon, yu-gi-oh 5d’s and bakugan.

not enough!

what’s worse is that they are doing cn real (cartoon network real) added reality shows this year in 2009!

they are also adding slamball! 🙁

all of these shows suck and they’re gonna fail because no one gives a flying hoo-ha about them.

like nikki, the female announcer of the cartoon network city era said,

“this is cartoon network.”

with all these reality cr-p they can’t call themselves cartoon network anymore!

the only good cartoons we have left are chowder, total drama island/action, flapjack and johnny test.

the thumb wrestling federation thing is pure r-t-rded and it’s lame. as if anyone wants to see thumbs in wrestling masks and stuff. the thumb characters are mostly idiots.

the curfews have decreased by one hour too. so now cartoon network ends at 10:00 instead of 11:00.

anyone who believes the new cartoon network sucks and that we need the old cartoon network back along with toonami, rate up.

what used to be a funny tv network, but has lately been slipping. first off, the normal station has been losing very good shows like “dexter’s lab” and “courage the cowardly dog”, (which can now only be found in top 5) and replacing them with total and utter sh-t like “squirrel boy”, “my gym partner is a monkey”, and “camp lazlo”.
secondly, the original “cartoon cartoon friday’s” we all know and love has also been replaced by a gay, f-cked-up “friday’s” with tommy and zinga (who was replaced by tara). this so-called “friday’s” has lately been trying to save itself by hiring popular rock bands such as bowling for soup and cartel…and some not-so-popular bands such as los lonely boys.
toonami and adult swim are also slipping. the popular “tenchi muyo” series on toonami was taken off the air a few years ago. i’m surprised they didn’t take that dragon ball sh-t off instead. they also took off “sailor moon” and “samurai jack”, both excellent productions. adult swim is adding “robot chicken” and overplaying reruns of “family guy”.
i lost almost all respct for cartoon network once they came up with “tickle u”.
cartoon network used to be good, but now it’s sh-t.
america’s excuse for f-cking up anime with editing. if j-panese kids can see sailor moon’s t-ts everyday after school why can’t we?

yeah, we can go out all day, my son will watch an anime marathon on cartoon network.
a channel that airs children shows in the day and adult shows (adult swim) in the night. cartoon network is also known for popular kids shows like the powerpuff girls, dexter’s lab and newer ones like the hi hi puffy amiyumi show and teen t-tans.
my 10-year-old sister likes to watch cartoon network shows but i pefer adult swim.
– a tv channel that kicks nickelodeon’s -ss. (but f-cked up dexter’ lab by downgrading the graphics of the characters and quality of the show. like the animator died and the got some a– to do it.

a channel on tv devoted to showing animated shows. during the day these shows are aimed at children. later on you get a slightly older crowd and a lot of anime. starting at 11 each night (except fridays) you have adult swim, which is a block of programming devoted to animated shows targeted at the 14+ category.
cartoon network is a pretty good channel. it is better than nickelodean (though i still think nick’s good) and adult swim is the best.
