when the skin on women’s (sometimes men’s) lower body – especially in the thighs and -ss – appears dimpled. this is caused from fat deposits pushing up between criss-crossed tissue strands under the skin, making it appear b-mpy and dimpled rather than smooth. cellulite can be affected by hormones, circulation, skin thickness and to some degree diet and exercise. pretty much all women have some cellulite, even very thin ones.

unfortunately there is so much negativity towards cellulite, and so many women spend money on lotions, creams and treatments promising to smooth their skin. these topically applied products simply plump the surrounding skin through m-ssaged application. this does reduce the appearance of cellulite but only temporarily. liposuction does not get rid of it either.

i think women should just accept their bodies and realize that pretty much everyone has it in some form, and be thankful that they actually have fat instead of being emaciated skeletons. there are far more important things than how smooth your -ss is and i find it very sad that even grown women complain about it it and let it effect how confident they are about their bodies. f-ck that. grow up and understand it’s just skin, who gives a f-ck. anyone who will put you down because of it is a c-nt.

actually a myth; “cellulite” describes more of a look of fat than the actual fat itself. fat is fat, the only way to get rid of it is through diet and exercise.

the look of “cellulite” is that of cottage cheese, which is actually caused by the sporadic connection between the skin and the muscle.

deposit of subcutaneous (right under your skin) fat and fibrous/connective tissue that results in dimpled, cottage cheese or orange peel appearance depending on amount of fat; affects a majority of women but only really fat men. generally appears in b-tt and thighs. even super skinny people can have cellulite as it seems that it is somewhat hereditary or hormonal. creams and pills can improve the appearance of cellulite, but it will go back to looking bad when you stop using them. liposuction does not remove cellulite. to get rid of cellulite, one must exercise and cut out bad foods, especially ones with preservatives. there is also an expensive treatment known as endermologie that gets rid of it. if one stays fit, it actually reduces with age.
i can’t believe this. my doctor says i’m underweight but i have cellulite on my thighs. d-mn genetics.
