besides the common definition, a bdsm symbol of attachment of a submissive to a dominant through collar made of metal, leather, or other material. similar to a wedding band in vanilla society. most collars are equipped with rings where a leash or restrain can be attached, like a dog’s collar.

a word i’m thinking about using to desribe american chavs. biggest f-cking douchebags on the planet (see chav), known for wearing brightly colored collared shirts, with the collar up. brands are usually american eagle, hollister, and other girl stores, yet it’s worn by guys. and again, biggest douchebags, ever.
“collars can go f-ck themselves”
the collective noun for a group of douchebags, referring to their habit of turning up the collar and/or cuffs on whatever shirt they are wearing, regardless of how ridiculous it looks.
wow, this place is crowded. i had to squeeze through a collar to get to the bar and now my shirt is covered in their spray tan.
