it is a social and political philosophy which encourages people to face up to their own rather nasty human nature and describes policies to protect society.
comp-ssionate b-st-rdism is about accepting that we are all b-st-rds and harnessing the greed that drives the majority, but at the same time ensuring that everyone is provided with the means to survive.
comp-ssionate b-st-rdism holds that if you want a fair society you have to be a b-st-rd about being comp-ssionate so that your comp-ssion can go to the people that really need it and it cannot be taken advantage of by the b-st-rds.
