cowboy hack
when someone is changing or “hacking” established it or some other processes without any formal knowledge of existing process. it is not just a “hack” is one of those: “let’s see what happens if i press this red b-tton” ! term came up from watching western movies when the cowboys would come riding into the city and start shooting randomly without any true purpose.
