Dairy Barn
unique to long island, new york, dairy barn is a retail chain of drive-thru convenience stores found throughout n-ssau and suffolk counties. they are shaped like barns, complete with red paint and all. customers can drive thru for cigarettes, beer and of course, milk. (heads up: the don’t carry dutches!) most db employees are extraordinarily quirky. the store in syosset is infamous throughout the chain for its in-store antics. definetly an experience for the out-of-town visitors. the iced tea is legendary.
why get out of your car and deal with the broken english at 7-11? the dudes at dairy barn will hook it up with that sweet iced tea.”
