Dashboarding
the act of jumping to the xbox dashboard or turning the xbox off after having a bad round of call of duty to save your kill death ratio.
someone goes 2 and 15 in call of duty modern warfare 2 and turns his/her xbox off (dashboarding) before the game goes back to the pre-game lobby. therefore eliminating their poor round.
to exit to the xbox 360 dashboard. dashboarding is somewhat common in infinity ward’s call of duty: modern warfare 2 when the player is looking to preserve their kill/death ratio or avoid a tactical nuke that was earned through boosting.

when a player, within the xbox community quickly ejects from a game to there xbox dashboard. for such reasons as, game freezing, rage quitting, and also to quickly switch games.
