dat yung, or more commonly known as dat yung snapchat lighting, is when you are taking a picture and there is a very bright light above you. this bright light erases all flaws commonly featured by “good” lighting. by having all flaws erased for a few moments, you have just enough time to get a picture and send it via snapchat. this ultimately makes people think you’re prettier than you actually are, dat yung is popular among the common “white girl”
