seeing something that is obviously very dangerous and involuntarily imagining yourself being the mortal victim of the dangerous place or object. to some it’s an omen never to be ignored.
i just had a deathflash of me driving off this steep mountain road. whoa! i better be careful from now on.
jeez i just had a deathflash of me getting skewered by that rebar down there. i think i’ll work on the ground the rest of the day.
