an act perpetrated by deer, most commonly odocoileus virgini-n-s, whereby an unsuspecting driver is tricked into pulling his or her vehicle to the side of the road whereupon he or she will be -ssault by the deer and its previously well-hidden friends. most frequently the -ssualt includes, but is not limited to, b-tting, violent rubbing, pushing, shoving, spitting and musking. humon victims are almost always shaken, but seldom injured.
reports of attempted surprise b-ttsecks are not unheard of.
