the act of preventing someone from having a well deserved, urgently needed, and much antic-p-ted bowl movement by asking them to do one more ch-r- before he disappears into the bathroom for an indeterminate amount of time.
john hated when his wife engaged in defecation interruptus by asking him to take out the trash as he headed toward the bathroom for a little quality time with the newspaper.
