Olfactory gland
olfactory gland n.
Any of the branched tubuloalveolar glands situated in the mucous membrane of the olfactory region of the nasal cavity that produce mucus to moisten the olfactory epithelium and dissolve odor-containing gases. Also called Bowman’s gland.
