a person who is very learned in the buddha’s teachings and can quote them extensively, but does not live them.
doug thinks he is smarter and better than others because he can recite a quote of the buddha appropriate for any occ-ssion, but he appears self-centered and obsessed with material possessions. he’s such a dharma monster.
